Issue Raw Materials to Job
Using the PointScan mobile device, users issue raw materials directly to the selected production Job in Sage. This is achieved by scanning the stock code and quantity against the relevant Works Order.
PointScan validation ensures the item matches the BOM and prevents over-issuing. Scanning drives accurate WIP postings, clean job costing, and error-free inventory movements—fast and controlled and in real-time in Xero or Sage Accounting.

Final Finished
In Sage 200 Evolution, once a Works Order is complete, the Finished Product is receipted from WIP into the relevant warehouse.
The system updates the Item Master which relieves the WIP account. This may also post any cost variances, and integrate automatically to the General Ledger for accurate inventory valuation and job costing.

In Xero, finished goods receipting updates stock on hand and posts the required journals from WIP to Finished Goods.

Print Barcoded Finished Goods Labels
The final step is to produce finished goods labels for your stock at the end of the WIP production line. Thereafter stock is scanned and transferred to the finished goods warehouse
